I will miss you, hon Spies. [Laughter.]
Mr W D Spies: Sport isn't just a game in South Africa. Some of the fiercest public debates on South Africa's future have been, ironically enough, about sport and sporting events. I think this may be because so much symbolism is inherent in sport. When the Springboks are playing against England or the British Lions, the Anglo-Boer War is playing itself out once again, and fortunately we won the last round. But that is exactly why these debates should not be taken lightly. When I take leave from you today, it is my wish that we continue these debates, that these debates remain sound and lively, but that we will always remember that what is said here has an enormous impact on the people out there.
I wish each one of you all the best. May God bless South Africa and all of its people and may He make the road prosperous for each one of you, and may we still witness many miracles in this land of ours. I thank you. [Applause.]]
