3. Key achievements for 2011/12 include: . Lower and high courts maintained a 3.7% positive clearance ration during the year under review. Better screening mechanisms resulted in a reduction of 12.2% in the number of cases withdrawn and assisted in the enrolment of trial ready cases. . The number of cases finalised through ADRM increased from 129 846 in 2010/11 to 132 693 in 2011/12. . A total of 15 886 cases were finalised by the backlog courts. . Specialised services to victims of sexual offences were delivered in 30 fully operational Thuthuzela Care Centres (TCCs). The number of fully operational TCCs increased from 27 to 30.
