(1)Considering that data by the SA Revenue Service (Sars) revealed that the Republic was heading towards a worrying trend where high-earners, who make up a small percentage of the population but account for a huge chunk of taxable income, are changing their residency status and thereby compromising a substantial amount that Sars could collect in revenue, what is the position of the National Treasury in this regard;
(2) whether, considering that the Republic would be losing millions of rands in revenue, the National Treasury has any other source to generate as much revenue; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
