(1) What are the (a) legal and (b) binding details regarding Eskom’s recent land acquisitions in each province for the (i) 2011-12 and (ii) 2012-13 financial years; (2) (a) why did Eskom buy properties in an upmarket golfing estate in the Kouga region, (b) what amount was spent on these properties and (c) how will these acquisitions protect the viability of the nuclear plant; (3) whether these acquisitions pose any risk as the environmental impact assessment has not been finalised; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) whether any land has been earmarked for (a) the transfer of the residents of Umzamowethu at Oyster Bay, (b)(i) a workers village, (ii) an industrial or (iii) a transitional sight in Humansdorp and (c) the residents of Die Berg; if not, why not; if so, (aa) what is the proposed budget and (bb) what are the further relevant details?
