(1) With reference to his reply to question 534 on 2 May 2012, what statistics did the SA Police Service (SAPS) record during the period 1 January 2009 up to the latest specified date for which information is available, indicating (a) the number of personnel in the SAPS whose integrity was found wanting, (b)(i) results of random entrapment and (ii) areas where high levels of such occurrences were recorded, (c) results of tests conducted for the abuse of drugs or alcohol and (d) the number of SAPS members not adhering to Regulation 11 of the regulations for the operation of the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID); (2) what are the details of specific procedures applied to test the integrity of members of the Directorate; (3) whether he has noted any trend in this regard; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details?
