Adv H C Schmidt (DA) to ask the Minister of Mineral Resources:
In light of the number of applications in terms of the Mineral and
Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), Act 28 of 2002, for the
various licences and permits as provided for in the MPRDA, (a) what are the
names of the (1) companies, (2) legal entities and/or (3) persons who have
been granted licences and/or permits during the period 31 October 2008 to 1
November 2009 to conduct activities for which a permit and/or licence is
required, (b) what is the nature of the licence and/or permits granted to
the abovementioned companies, legal entities and/or persons in terms of the
respective sections of the MPRDA and (c) on which date was each of the
requested licences and/or permits issued?

regarding holders of rights and permits issued in terms of the Mineral and
