(1) Whether, with reference to the President, Mr Jacob G Zuma’s, undertaking in his State of the Nation Address delivered on 11 February 2016, that a certain state-owned pharmaceutical company (name furnished) will participate in the supply of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs to his department in the 2016-17 financial year, the specified company will be manufacturing the ARVs; if not, what precisely is meant by participate; if so, (2) whether the specified company has been approved by the Medicines Control Council to manufacture ARVs; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details in terms of (a) when the specified company will start to produce the active ingredients, (b) what the relevant details are of the exact chemical ingredients that will be used and (c) to whom and/or which other company it will supply such ingredients; (3) (a) who is the chief executive officer of the specified company, (b)(i) who are the staff and (ii) what are their qualifications in each case, (c) what number of staff members are employed, (d)(i) where does this project receive funding from and (ii) what amount in each case, (e) who are the current investors and/or partners and (f) where is the project based?
