Chairperson, for anybody who has run an organisation of any substantial size would know that you don't need a particular discipline. You need leadership, broad knowledge, and the capability to command engineers, scientists and other technicians. As long as you can mobilise them, organise them in a particular way and ensure that they perform at the right kind of way, you have the right kind of formula. Not every head of every technical organisation is necessarily an engineer. I am sure Mr Paulsen knows there are different types of engineers: Civil engineers and electrical engineers - and even amongst electrical engineers you have a diverse range of operational capabilities that these individuals actually have as well.
