Speaker, on the issue of Ms Msibi, who was stripped in front of her co-workers, I want to say that it is being followed up by the Department of Labour. We are working with the Department of Police, because the matter was also reported to the police. We are going to follow that one up until the end. We will report to the member in terms of what is happening.
We have discussed the issue of the Human Rights Watch report with the Departments of Agriculture, Rural Development, Labour and Police. We have agreed that we are going to have a round-table meeting of which the members of the portfolio committees in those related departments should also be part.
We will also invite the three federations of organised labour and organised business, through AgriSA, to be part and parcel of that meeting so that we can address the issue of the rights of farmworkers. We also want to address the issue of the obligations of the employers, because it seems as if the employers don't understand what their obligations are.
Regarding the issue of violent strikes that was raised by hon Van der Merwe, it is unfortunate that the member was not here last week. This matter was discussed in this House and responded to. There are also discussions between the leadership of organised labour and myself. The Minister of Police has even indicated how they will deal with the issue of violent strikes. I hope the member will, in future, just ask for the report on what had happened during his absence in Parliament.
