Madam Chair, I rise on a point of order, to ask you to rule on whether it's parliamentary for a member of this House, namely the Chief Whip of the Council, to accuse the premier of the province, who by virtue of opposition is a leader of a delegation, of ethnic cleansing? Ethnic cleansing, if I heard the words correctly, is a racist attack on our premier, a member of this House, and I ask you to rule on that.
Hon Watson, there was already an objection to the motion.
The objection is to the motion. It now becomes a notice of motion. It's still on our papers; I want you to rule on the words that Helen Zille is accused of racist cleansing, ethnic cleansing.
May I say that I'm going to come back to you, Mr Watson, but can we continue with the work of today?
