About Sango Patekile Holomisa

Chief Holomisa is currently serving as a Deputy Minister of Correctional Services. He previously served as the Deputy Minister of Labour. He received his BA at the University of Transkei (UNITRA) and his LLB at the University of Natal. He has served as a member of the Endangered Species Protection Unit and World Wildlife Fund, chaired the Portfolio Committee on Agriculture and Land Affairs Committee and chaired the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development. Chief Holomisa has also published papers for national and international conferences on cultural and governance issues.
