Whether, with reference to her Cabinet statement on 5 December 2024 where she announced the appointment of the non-executive members to the Board of Armscor, she and the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans were informed that a series of gross irregularities (details furnished) occurred in the run-up to her announcement that compromised the integrity and legality of the Armscor Board; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Whether the State Security Agency has registered and/or discovered any national security concerns and/or risks associated with any international support movements and/or campaigns related to actions of the President of the United States of America, Mr Donald Trump, particularly from groups that might have connections and/or influence in the Republic; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details?
(a) What measures are used to evaluate the effectiveness of the 31 Thusong Centres in KwaZulu-Natal with regard to providing government services to communities and (b) how does the Government ensure that the centres remain (i) accessible and (ii) well-resourced to meet the needs of the community?
What media literacy programmes and/or public awareness campaigns has the Government Communication and Information System launched to help citizens identify fake news and fact-check misleading information?
(1) Whether, she has been informed that a German based multinational arms conglomerate with a controlling 51% shareholding in the SA munitions manufacturing company, Rheinmetall Denel Munitions (RDM), uses its RDM subsidiary to manufacture 155mm ammunition used to replenish German army stocks that are also exported on to Israel and Ukraine; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what steps does she intend to take against the specified company as this is a breach of the stated regulations and objectives of the National Conventional Arms Control Act, Act 41 of 2002;
(2) whether she intends to initiate an immediate and total suspension of arms exports from RDM plants in the Republic until a full investigation is completed into RDM’s breach of the Republic’s laws and arms control regulations; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details of the steps she intends to take?

- Section 84 of the Constitution requires of the President to apply his mind before assenting Bills, and it is important to respect this process the President adopts before signing Bills into law. The Minister in The Presidency and SSAhas been using the period since the passing of the GILAB by Parliament to prepare the Agency for the implementation of the Law.
