Mr Zondo hails from Hluhluwe in KwaZulu-Natal. He studied at Ethekwini TVET College and was a Councillor in the Big Five Hlabisa Municipality. He is also the Deputy National Chairperson of the Inkatha Freedom Party Youth Brigade.
