About Mangaqa Albert Mncwango

Mr Mangaqa Albert Mncwango represented the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in the National Assembly for 23 years from 1994 to 2017. He left Parliament in 2017 to take up office as mayor of Nongoma Local Municipality. He held the office until 2023. During that time, in August 2019, he was elected as deputy secretary-general of the IFP at the party’s 35th national general conference.
