Join Livity on June 16-18 2015 at the VIP Youth Fest in Cape Town and Johannesburg as they celebrate young people under the theme: The State of SA Youth Today.
The mandate of VIP Campaign is to discuss and examine the social, cultural and economic themes that dominate the lives of young people today; and the broader political context that we contend with – as seen through the young person’s lens. The VIP platform seeks to engage young people, 18-35, in discussions and debate on civic responsibility. The campaign is apolitical.
The festival will seek to uncover and highlight the vibrant, dynamic and challenging context that young South Africans contend with today; in an embodiment of youthful (political) expression: rousing opinion, stimulating performance, striking visuals and the rampant exchange of ideas that we hope will be practiced and lived by the attendees, well after the festival has finished. The festival will take place in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
