Infographic: Are we ready for Rio?

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) along with Athletics South Africa (ASA) were under the microscope in Parliament this week. With the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro less than two years away, and South Africa having competed in the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this year, the oversight committee wanted to assess Team SA's success and prospects for the upcoming tournament, as there was a need to build on their good showing in the previous games. SASCOC and ASA pointed to varied successes in the Commonwealth Games as an indicator of Team SA's readiness. The following infographic serves as an evaluation of our readiness.
