Some of the issues to be addressed include: - To what extent is what we are seeing a hang-over from the identity politics of the past? Or is this a foreseeable consequence of the nation-building project of the 1990’s and 2000’s? Or is it a mixture of both? - Who benefits from the violence continuing? - How do we build a positive-nationalism? Is such a concept possible?
