[Interjections.] ... where the remnants of apartheid are rife and visible, especially when it comes to land reform, not even 2% of the land in the Western Cape has been reformed. Deputy President, the post-settlement programmes have been assessed by the then Department of Rural Development as well as public hearings that took place in Parliament. Shortcomings in the programme were acted upon and changes to the programme were meant to be implemented. What is the assessment of the Presidency with regard to these interventions, and have they translated into achieving what the policy intended?
