Dear Portfolio Committee On Transport,
I have written to you before, about my problem with the raf, without receiving a reply, or much of a reply at all. I am willing at any stage to meet with you, and provide evidence in relation to the problem. I am one of many experts, who did work for the raf, Namely, I am a neurosurgeon in private practice, and the raf asked me to help them catch up on approximately 400 cases in terms of neurosurgery clients, where they were behind on their reports and records .I did help them, I did approximately 400 cases, they paid for approximately 50 cases, and the rest, for work done between 2015 and 2018, they refuse to pay for. They claim that I was not authorized to do the work, but their staff members came to my office in 2014 and headhunted me and asked me to do the job, their own attorneys and lawyers sent me all the instruction letters and documents to do the work. In essence, it is not only that I am owed approximately R4 million for the 350 cases, but I lost money, because each case would cost approximately R400 in terms of typing fees for a 25 to 30 page report , I’m wondering if you can help me with this situation, I am one of approximately 70 experts, who has this problem. We have written to treasury, the public protector, launched the court case, but in the end, nothing has transpired since 2018 faithfully, Dr. Miller
