Dear Portfolio Committee on Health,
On 27 March this year I went to the above hospital for general check up. I complained about a lump on my elbow and I was referred to a physician. I was then diagnosed with a condition called Lupus. I was prescribed with a whole lot of medications including chemotherapy drugs. On June this year I became ill and went to Netcare Poloso in Polokwane. I undertook a second opinion on the advice of doctors there, only to find I was negative on the disease I've been taking medications on. I then inquired with the original laboratory where the physician took my blood samples to and Lupus was ruled out even there.
Instead she withheld from me two conditions which are positive. I then sent her a message to inform her I was on hospital and she phoned me to tell me she has sent me another prescription, which ironically is one of the positive conditions as per my test results. We had such long discussions and she ended up blocking me. I can't find a way out my pharmacist has been looking for her to get clarity on the those prescriptions she sent.
Please help urgently because our black brothers might be dying in the hands of these racist doctors.
