Dear Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation,

Leadership I humbly request your team to take it in to your attention the issue of sanitation that we have at ward 87 Duduza.

We reside in a small area where we are provided services through discrimination.

We have atlist over 15years residing in the area but our government came and only services some people with water and sanitation and few were left behind and we were provided with chamical toilets. The same chamical toilets are not accessible becouse people are owning them . We have numerous talks with our Ward canceller Bongani Hlopho with regard to this , but no assistance is given.

If only we can get clarification of how long are we going to leave like this it would be batter, the community has accepted the life of buckets system. We know we should be requesting bto be serviced with property water and sanitation like the rest of the community in the area ,but we don't do that . The only think we asked is to be provided with the humiliation services bof bucket system but still we are not given that opportunity.

Leadership I request your intervention becouse I still believe you will assist. Since Ekurhuleni changed the leadership we have witnessed people being respected and given the attention that thy deserves. I like to request you the team to deligate officials to come and do an overnight in the area and see how we are the conditions we leave in then you will take it from there. Is very painful leadership we have kids, Parents who will have to work to other areas when thy need to assist them when nature calls.
