Dear Portfolio Committee on Tourism, We are the Aboriginal |Xam Ka! Ke! (San/ Bushmen) communitties of the Western Cape. Sins the colonial government took over with enslavement and genocide of our people we has lost our right and excess to our Ancestral Spiritual and ceremonial sites who are in the hand of private farm owner and Government organisation and stake holders. Therefore we have no excess to regain our Spiritual connection to our ancestors. Although South Africa have signed and agreed the UBNDRIP and therefore excepted the IOL169 we though that we will get back our inheritant passed out through generation.

Our Spiritual land are being use by the farmers to generate money for themselves. I
We want our sacred sites and the management of it back to the descendants of the Aboriginal |Xam Ka! Ke!.

We have intervene in many discussions with local government and Cape Nature but it seems that we are being ignored.

We ask for your help and support in this matter.
Paarl Mountain is the most Spiritual Gathering sacred site of our people it is a place of gathering at the feet of the mother of the nation. This place was used by our ancestors to gather all its children that why never mind where we are in this country today, the feeling of going home to the cape is always present. That is how powerful this Ancestral Spiritual Sacred site are to us.
