Dear Portfolio Committee on Public Enterprises,

I have realized with great sadness the NPC Position Paper on Contribution of SOE's to NDP's vision 2030 however, we can only realize the calibration of SOE's contribution to NDP's mandate if only we avoid political interference from the administration of SOE's, and there's no way political interference will be mitigated if we don't call for an END to the Tender Process (across SOE's and including all county governments).

This process is the reason for public funds looting and forever increasing irregular expenditure. We therefore need to TERMITE and DISSOLVE the entire Tender Process, the process continuously exposes our economy to financial loss, this is intolerable!

We call an end to the Tender Process and ABSORB companies that have already established preferential procurement status into the procurement system of SOE's and ONLY conduct business with them on the basis of problem solving proposals and as of the remaining SMME'S and SME's they will be absorbed through the Post Pandemic Strategic Framework (PPSF) 2021-2024.

The focus should now be on accelerating the implementation of the NDP and no any other reason.
