Ms Nonhlanhla Helen Makhuba was first elected to Parliament as a representative of the Inkatha Freedom Party in 2009. She served on the Portfolio Committee for Communications and as an alternate member on the committees for Health, Water and Environmental Affairs.
She is a long-time resident of Soweto and holds a diploma in Financial Management and an advanced certificate in Credit Management. She is currently the MMC for Transport in the City of Johannesburg.
