Dear all respectful members of the Committee on Multi-Party Women's Caucus,
So wonderful to be reaching you in South Africa. Sadly all my joy and knowledge about your great country comes from films and stories I have watched and heard. My life has never been the one I dreamt it to be. The dictatorship in Iran forbid it and today I live among a wide spectrum of Iranians in exile. We are campaigning for our people in Iran who are deprived of the least human rights. Even more the catastrophic events caused by the same regime in the region leaves us with no other solution but to reach out to MPs worldwide for support. A statement has been joined by 1,600 parliamentarians calling for global peace and security. Please I ask that your caring committee can add its valuable collective support also.
