Dear Portfolio Committee on Women, Youth and People with Disabilities, I would like to take this time to share my recommendations for HRH Princess Eurika Mogane, she has been an utmost pleasure to work with as one of our SPAR Women’s Challenge ambassadors in the Lowveld of region. She has been assisting the team in the community by driving awareness of sanitary pads for young girls in schools and providing support to young girls with educational hygiene awareness, and helping us to also combat the fight against gender based violence in the community. She has helped us to link organisations like GRIP also known as the greater rape intervention programme who are in need of support from other medical professionals like those from the women’s clinics that have established programmes to continue to create awareness about GBV. With other community ambassadors and HRH Princess Eurika Mogane support, we were able to raise funds for GRIP through our community race called the SPAR Women’s Challenge in 2023 to the value of R180 000. In it all, HRH Princess is an excellent candidate for this wonderful role as she holds true values of equality, passion, integrity, love and respect.
