Dear Portfolio Committee on Basic Education,
Since the school reopened i have been daily to the office of
education in the region of Ekurhuleni trying to get a space for my
son who is going to grade 3, and I have been taken from pillar to
post. The staff there are very unfriendly and useless, cannot even
tell you which school they placed your kid. I am tired of waiting
my son is loosing a lot, and the issue now is stressing him. He
can't be sitting at home while other kids are going to school. I
have applied on time, from September 2023, I had done applications
up to December 2023.
