Dear Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services,we as Baroka Bamashabela community have been brutally beaten by police in 2013 when questioning Twickenham Platinum mine, under Anglo American group to take care of youth employment in our village. We have been convicted and jailed, trialed and released on free bail. Our case is loosing position in finalization, meaning is going backwards and forward without any settlement. Our lawyer and state lawyer fo not furnish us with detailed information. We suppose to get payments for evil and wrong convictions. We were + - 60 in number during our arrest in 2013. What is getting worse is our members are dying. Currently six people have already lost lifeor passed away. The case delaying tactic sent us to a horizon. Our lawyer and state lawyer are not servicing us true to the point. We're currently confused! Please help us.
