Dear Portfolio Committee on Basic Education,
We, at Westenburg Secondary School, wish to be assisted with connectivity, ICT gadgets like laptops, edupads and smart boards. The school is at quintile 3 and depends solely on norms and standards, to run itself. The school was constructed to serve the previously disadvantaged colored community in the early 80s, although there is now integration. However, the positive and highly spirited staff and learners are making the most of what they have, to move forward with their academics. Your needed help would make the school and its community go a long way, in catching up with the rest of the city around it; in terms of academic results, ICT knowledge and research skills (as we do not have a laboratory and library).
