PROGRESS MADE WITH DMV PENSION BENEFIT APPLICATION

GPAA letter dated 30 June 2023-MV00016161).

I am aware that the rollout commenced at the beginning of Nov 23 after the DMV had transferred R4.8 million to GPAA for the rollout. The Portfolio Committe on DMV had previously expressed concerns with regards to underperformance of DMV given the great need for delivery of services fron Military Veterans.

Against the backdrop of approved regulations and signed governance documents between DMV and GPAA, to allow GPAA to start dispensing together with previous human resource capacity constraints within the department, kindly advise me on the progress made with my application.
