Dear Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development,
My name is Nicholas Hendricks.I'm from Eldorado Park.I was invited to attend a public hearing on the proposed amendment bill of the National Small business.
I am very unhappy with the way the proceedings was going.There was not enough time allocated for such a vast and sensitive bill.You wonder why our Small businesses is not thriving in this Country.We had 30 people raising their concerns,each of who had 3 minutes to speak.Half of us that wanted to know more walked away from this hearing non the wiser.The Ombudsman issue,the Co operative banking issue,the appointment of the Agency and it's staff?I can go on and on and on but I also don't want to give you more then 3 minutes,cause that's what you think we deserved to eat from you guys.The hearing was held at South rand recreational Centre.I fail to see how SEDFA is doing to be any different since the main concern of this hearing was weather we support the bill or not.This was just protocol,there was no discussion and you know it.Thank you for a day wasted in my life that I will never get back again.
