Dear Portfolio Committee on Employment and Labour,

(1) What is the minimum and maximum duration for stopping the salary of a Public Servant without proper consultation and notice (could it be 04 Months, as an example)?
(a) Should a Public Servant not report for duty for the duration his/her salary was stopped since (s)he is depending on it as the only source of income, taking the health and wellness issue into consideration?
(2) What should a Personnel Practitioner: Employment Equity do if his/her seniors subject him/her to unfair treatment and there is lack of creativity nor commitment in the implementation of the Employment Equity LAW?
(3) What is the duration of probation period of a Public Servant in a post?
