Dear Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements,

I have reported serious maladministration of the Provincial Department of Human Settlements (Land and Asset Management) for more than 2 years now and all spheres of government refuse to address it. I have emailed the Chief Director of Human Settlement Planning, the Premier, Provincial Minister, National Minister, Special Investigations Unit, Presidential Hotline, Deputy President and the President's office but nothing has come of it. The Departments failure to adhere to policies and legislation is a violation of our HUMAN RIGHTS and this issue needs to be addressed URGENTLY. Public Service officials are not adhering to Public Service Code of Conduct or the law regarding Public Administration and their misconduct is negatively impacting citizens and causing suffering. Are we, as South African citizens, not supposed to be protected by our Constitution?????
