Dear Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements,

I would just like to bring to your attention that the citizens of Sophiatown are suffering by debt not caused by them we are paying for services that are not delivered and have to live in inhumane conditions.

We are proud tax paying citizens but the service we are paying are not being provided.

We would like to get assistance with getting a health and Safety officer at our facilities.

Can you please assist us in this regard.
As our elderly are suffering with the living conditions that we are exposed to.

They have suffered enough under the Apartheid regime they shouldn't suffer in our Democratic state as well for what's freedom if suffering stills remains.

I pray that this message gets through to the relevant parties.
