The Honourable Chair of the committee I have a very deep concern about the state of the G4s Mangaung Maximum Prison in terms of security, yes but I suggest that the DCS should not terminate the contract of the G4s taking into consideration that the treasury does not have money to pay teachers, doctors nurses , the police and defense and may other Government institutions in our country. If the DCS incorporate former G4s Mangaung maximum prison employees into the already iĺling institution DCS with a budget that has elready been I think the situation at our Prisons in South Africa are gona be worse. To cut long story short let's the committee change some rules and agreements of the contract with G4s and see if there would a drastic change in their operations, the Mangaung Maximum Prison is poor and rotten and its employees and greedy and bought early by prisoners, let be a feasible study conducted of the state of the Prison, weakness and weakness and findings and recommendations be made before the decision is made not to renew the contract. 2. State of Government Mortuaries in the country, dead bodies could be sold as is we are buying bananas at a street vendor, the Management of state Mortuaries should a matter of great concern in the country, poor management lead to poor and lack of discipline by workers . It points back to poor management. 3. Investigation by the Police it's another crisis, we expect an investigator to be an academically qualified with relevant mimum qualifications of Diploma in Policing, Bacheloris Technology Degree in Policing or Masters Technology in Policing, this is the corner stone as a developing country that we need to lay our concrete foundation on for future arrests of right perpetrators of crimes fair trial and successful prosecution.
