Dear Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development, my name is Watson Nonjiko im based in North West Rustenburg. My worrying issue here is the tick box exercise, gate-keeping and red taping by SibanyeStillwater.

We have been bidding for various tenders at SibanyeStillwater for quite some time now. In November we won a multi-billion worth of a contract over a period of 3 years. We were awarded the LOI, undergone all the necessary internal processes, then later we were told that we are under investigation.

We were then asked during an investigation how we got this tender, and we were advised that it would be cancelled. Now, we are of the view that they intend to give it to spme white owned company that lost to us due to compliance.

Please kindly assist us in engaging with SibanyeStillwater concerning this matter. We have written a letter to the board concerning this matter but we haven't received any feedback.
