Dear Portfolio Committee on Social Development, I have written to this about the Social Development department - Sassa officials who failed to assist an unemployed, aged 62 man without any support gets backlash from his wife (absconded for more than 4month) who refuses to submit her salary advice or 3 bank statements to the Sassa offices. These officials failed to provide assistance to the applicant what action he may pursue (officials attitude of arrogance and ignorance). The plight is to be assisted with the way forward because he has a son to support, and his fed up of handouts as everything is starting to impact his life and livelihood. Where must he go for help. To disclose further information will be upon your response and requesting such.

We thought of approaching this portfolio committee which might advise what route to follow. This is impacting on his life and livelihood.
