Dear Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services, I am Makhauta Makoae, from Ntshongweni, I just started working at Ixobho(Kings Grant). I use to stay in Botanic Gardens in Durban, I also Stayed in Phoenix, I currently do not have a place to stay now. I write this message hoping for help from you. I had a partner, who was from the street, who needed help, with food, clothes etc. MY EX IS A DRUG ADDICT, 1 day I was stupid enough to give her my pin code I trusted her to help me to open up my own business, and I applied for loan with my partner 's help, but she started using that money with out my aothorization, Whe I realized what she's been doing, she threatened to kill me and my family, I was so scared because I found out that she was protected by the Drug Dealers, she started abusing me so bad, we were staying together in the flat in Botanic,I consaltant her parents about this situation, and she forbidden me to talk to her parents and the police as well, she somehow managed to get a job from the company called Eximed Ambulance based in Phoenix, which hired her without any paperwork, she don't have I. D she lost license, she in drugs. I called her boss about this situation, I did get help, I lost almost everything that I had, including clothes, dishes money, which forced me to rely and beg her for things like meal so I can survive until I get job, at the some how I manage to report this at the Berea Police station but I couldn't find help, then we moved to Phoenix I reported this again at Phoenix police Station I couldn't get help, they referred me to Magistrate court, when I get there they told me to go back to police station,on December I found a 2 months contract at IXobho( Kings Grant). I got paid, and the bank had to deduct the money, things are very bad I feel like am gonna loose my self, on December holidays I went to my sister's house at Village ( Demat Road, she promised me that she will help me to the bank, which she not doing it at all, but today morning she kicked me out because she don't need me anymore, me and my youngest son (3 years old). She have another warrant for Robbery that she failed to attend, instead she's hiding from the police every time, and her parents are supporting her in this situation. I don't know what to do, I can't afford the school fees for my children and anything to leave I can't afford a place to stay. Please Oparation Dudula I need you help my life is in Danger, I need your help, and protect others from her she is dangerous, she always holds a dangerous weapon to threaten me, I tried to fight her but I can't win, because her parents are probably paying the police and Detective to hide her, she got a very wealthy family to afford anything they want, plz am begging you to me. She don't Deny it anything but she can't help me, because I cant do anything about the situation.
