Dear Portfolio Committee On Transport,
A suggestion to help the South African economy and road Safety.
Introduce a law that vehicles older than 5 or 7 years go bi-annually for a roadworthy test. (this law applies in Netherlands and other countries and made a large difference to the safety on the roads)
This will reduce a number of accidents, and increase employment in the vehicle inspection and workshops as also probably sales.
Also all vehicles should have at least a balance of 3rd party insurance..
