The proposed procurement of additional nuclear capacity, which will constitute the most expensive public tender process in South Africa's history, reflects the magnitude and importance of the decisions to be taken by the Minister of Energy. To you, Minister, I say, South Africa can ill afford another arms deal scandal. As such, I call on the Minister to ensure the highest level of transparency in the procurement process.
