I. Briefing sessions held with provincial departments, district and local municipalities to outline the existing state of tourism, challenges and opportunities. II. Hearings held with tourism industry stakeholders. III. Site visits intended to obtain first-hand experience on prospects, opportunities and challenges by both provincial governments and the communities; and IV. Visits were concluded with stakeholder engagement sessions which sought to map out the plan of government as a collective from (local, district, provincial and national) on the issues raised by stakeholders.
