Fifthly, our strategy on deracialisation is the utilisation of what we call "no man's land". You all know it! The evil utilisation of land as a buffer by the architects of apartheid resulted in the creation of no man's land between Johannesburg and Soweto; between Cape Town and Gugulethu; between Pretoria and Mamelodi; Durban and Umlazi; and others, to name a few, resulting in black areas having little or no amenities at all. Our approach in this regard is to focus on building integrated human settlements in that space to locate people closer to the towns and cities.
