Ms Beatrice Thembekile Ngcobo was born on the 18 July 1943. She served as a Member of Parliament since 2004 until her death.

Beatrice Ngcobo was a Deputy Chair for Community on Gender Equality. She was also a Disability Rights Activist for Disabled People SA. Ngcobo participated in SANGOCO National Poverty Hearings 1988. She held an MA degree in Social Sciences and a Diploma in Advanced Nursing Education from the University of KwaZulu Natal. source: whoswho.co.za
