Mr Diale joined the ANC in 1956 and has been a Member of Parliament since the first democratic election in 1994. Mr Diale has completed a Junior Certificate. Since his entry into South African politics he has been a member in various political formations, including the South African Congress of Trade Unions. He has performed duties in the Advice Centre in the ANC Jane Furse Branch and has served as a Regional Executive Committee member. He is currently serving on the Parliamentary Committees on Correctional Services, Defence and Military Veterans, and Safety and Security respectively. Mr Diale’s policy interests include control of the economy by the working class and poverty eradication.
