Mr Topham is a chartered accountant and Lawyer previously active in business and professional practice. He came into Politics at local government as a city Councillor from 2006 to October 2015. He has sat and continues to sit on various company boards (Private and Publicly listed) in both Executive and Non Executive roles. His specific focus is on the Audit committees and on Company strategy.
He currently uses his business and professional experience on Government matters as a Member of Parliament representing the Democratic Alliance. He sits on the Standing Committees of Finance, Trade and Industry and the Auditor General.
