Andile Mngxitama hails from Potchefstroom in the North-West and holds an MA in Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
As a Land Activist, he founded the Black First Land First party and served as its President from October 2015 until November 2023. He was also a former Member of the Economic Freedom Fighters from 2013-2015.
