About Gobonamang Prudence Marekwa

Ms Gobonameng "Bonny" Marekwa was born in Kimberley. She actively participated in union activities before becoming a Shop Steward in 1995. She was elected Treasurer of COSATU Northern Cape and Free State Region from 2001 until 2008. She holds a Diploma in Education, Certificates in Economic Development and Personnel and Training Management. She was awarded an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration and went on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
