The ad hoc committee report has gone lyrical about the Sixth Parliament continuing with its legacy report. The committee was duplicating the work already done by the Joint Constitutional Review Committee. It was also representing the function of the Portfolio Committee on Constitutional Development and Correctional Services. It is the portfolio committee's role to initiate a process for the passing of a constitutional amendment, including recommending the tax and subtax of the proposed amendment. The ad hoc committee has invited the few experts whom it entrusted with a shared light on its work.
