Comrade Deputy Speaker, comrades and friends. Let's be very clear; it's unusual, even in an established democracy for the Minister of Finance and the government on the very eve of an election to be so open about its economic and financial challenges. He laid it bare; maybe even annoyingly bare for some within the ranks of our party. But there it was, open and glaring under the full rise of the sun for all to see.
That, it seems to me, overall, is a fent. For one to overcome challenges, you have to fully grasp the extent and depth of it in the first place. That, most certainly, has been done by the Minister.
