Deputy Speaker, I want to confirm to the hon member of the DA that indeed the matter of the National Director of Public Prosecutions is in hand and is being dealt with in the executive sphere of government.
It would be highly premature for him to propose that the matter serve before this House. Is he not aware of the separation of powers? The law prescribes the manner in which it is to be dealt with. [Interjections.] It is supposed to be dealt with in the executive sphere. So, what's your problem?
Anyway, just to confirm that in due course we shall be in a position to take members of the public into our confidence, and of course, at that point the DA would also be apprised as to the developments with regard to the matter. Stop politicking and speculating about things which are not before you! [Interjections.] Thank you very much.
